Come on out and join us for our monthly Dive Against Debris at our Adopt a Dive Site in Long Beach, CA!
We will be discussing methods of maintaining buddy contact throughout the dive, safe methods of removing debris, when to leave debris behind, when to take it and what materials are more important than others to remove. We will also be discussing the issue of marine life on the debris and how that impacts the choice of leaving the debris behind or taking it with you.
Not a diver? That’s okay! We encourage family and friends to come on out and help clean the beach of debris before it finds it’s way into the water.
